Aptera AR Tour
Explore ancient Aptera as you walk around the archaeological site viewing the monuments along the tour route. When approaching a point of interest, point the handheld device at the corresponding information sign, making the 3D model of the selected monument appear in actual size. This immersive experience allows users to tour the interior of selected monuments such as the ancient theatre or the Roman House, listen to additional information in four languages (Greek, English, German and French) and take a selfie in front of the digitally “restored” monuments. There is also useful information on how to get to the site and a map of the points of interest!
